However, the difference in accuracy with my handloads is minimal for my needs. Since we seldom shoot over 100 yards at our 3-gun matches, it is a much better option since the gun swings and stops much faster, allowing better and more accurate shot placement from target to target.I believe the DPMS Panther Oracle uses a Glacier hand guard, but I don't believe it is a free floating handguard. The Burris scope cost almost as much as the rifle.! However, the optics are excellent, and I have less money in this gun than a light weight Rock River without optics! With my hand loads, my Oracle will shoot 5-shot one inch groups at 100 yards from a bench.
